ABSTRACT
Project Cirrus, initiated on February 28, 1947 under
Contract W-36-039-sc-32427, requisition EDO 21190, was
established to cover "research study of cloud particles and
cloud modifications." Project Cirrus continued through the
life of several government contracts, ending in 1952. A
history of the project covers not only the work done under
